ℹ️ How to connect your custom domain to your web.Best website.
If you want to connect a custom domain or subdomain to your web.Best website, please follow these detailed 3 steps:
Step 1️⃣. Create your web.Best account and activate your free short videos website.
- Once you have created your web.Best account, please download the Best app and login to activate your free short videos website.
- By default, your free short videos website will be automatically created on the following url : yourusername.sites.best
Step 2️⃣. Choose the custom domain or subdomain that you want to connect to your web.Best website.
- Go to your registrar website and login to the control panel of your domain.
- Select the domain you wish to connect and go to the DNS management section for this domain.
Step 3️⃣. You have 2 Domain Connection Options. You can connect:
Option 🅰️: Your main domain (root + www). Ex: mydomain.com + www.mydomain.com
or
Option 🅱️ : A subdomain. Ex: videos.mydomain.com, best.mydomain.com, ...
Option 🅰️: You want to connect your main domain : root + www. (ex: mydomain.com + www.mydomain.com)
➡️ Add a A-type record for your root domain (ex:mydomain.com). Make it point to the IP address target value: 76.76.21.21
Record name : @
Record type : A
Record value : 76.76.21.21
➡️ Add a CNAME record for the www of your domain. Make it point to the target value: cname.vercel-dns.com
Record name: www
Record type : cname
Record value : cname.vercel-dns.com
Option 🅱️: You only want to connect a subdomain (ex: videos.mydomain.com, best.mydomain.com, ...).
➡️ Update/Set-up a CNAME record for the subdomain of your choice (ex: videos.mydomain.com) . Make it point to the target value: cname.vercel-dns.com
